Give Your Sweetie a Massage

Give him a massage that will make him melt!

This is a great way to get closer to your boyfriend – get your hands on him and build intimacy… massage opens many doors – it doesn’t always have to be sexual even though its a great way avenue to foreplay. Massages can be used for intimacy, to show affection and simply attention.

Here are some tips from Denis Merkas – creator of couples massage classes – Make Your Partner Melt

Oil:
Sweet Almond Oil is commonly used by massage practitioners because it provides a smooth consistency. Other oils can be used – grape-seed oil is another popular choice. You can buy these oils from health food stores.

Equipment:
Have some towels close by just in case oil drips off your boyfriends body, and so that you can wipe your boyfriend down afterwards.

Environment:
When massaging your boyfriend, make sure the room is warm and clean and areas of the body that are not being massaged are covered up with a towel to keep them warm.

Here are a few tips to get you started…

BACK MASSAGE

  1. Place your Boyfriend face down on the bed or the floor. You can straddle him by sitting on or just below his butt.
  2. OR…

  3. Sit your boyfriend in front of you on the floor. Kneel behind him; he should sit between your legs. You’ll need lots of cushions for you to sit on otherwise your knees and lower back will get sore very quickly.
NOTE: sitting in these positions for long periods of time will cause discomfort. 20 minutes seems to be the time when your lower back or knees start to hurt. Your massage doesn’t need to go for much longer than that.

ADDING OIL

  1. Don’t slap on oil – rub it into your hands before you apply it.
  2. When adding oil to your hands, drop the amount of a 50c piece into one hand, then rub your hands together before you apply it to his back – you’ll need to repeat this a few times when first adding oil to your boyfriends back as his back will be dry at first and absorb the oil quickly.
  3. Cover all the areas of the back with oil so that there is a consistent layer. Some of the oil will get absorbed by your boyfriend’s body and rubbed out by your hands – you may need to go back to more.

MASSAGE TIPS

  1. Using an open hand (with pressure coming from the heel of your palm). This is better than using finger tips (finger tips are pokey and don’t feel nice)
  2. Don’t use your thumbs – save this till the end of the massage.
  3. Let your hands contour to your partners body – this creates a smooth fuller / sexier massage. Make sure your hand is relaxed and use long sweeping massage strokes.
  4. Your massage strokes should flow – if it doesn’t then you don’t have a even layer of oil on his back.
  5. Highlight in areas of tension – (highlighting = go slower and deeper in sensitive areas to release the tension). The best way to determine areas of tension is to ask you boyfriend, get him to tell you where it hurts and give you feedback as to what massage strokes feel good.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

  1. Most boys are going to want you to work their muscles with deep tissue techniques. You’ll naturally want to use your thumbs or fingers to go deep, this will quickly hurt your hands making you tired and sore.
  2. Rather than using your thumbs to massage an entire muscle with deeper pressure, use the heel of your palm instead. This will save your hands.
  3. When you have found a specific location, a small knot, you can then use your thumb on this area. Your boyfriend should be able to tell you exactly where this is when you massage over it. Only use your thumbs in a deep area for a short amount of time.

You don’t need to be an expert in massage to give your boyfriend something that he’ll love. The most important point is that he gives you feedback regarding what he likes.
